It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the High School Division of SISU Bilingual School.

For our students in the High School, the study of English is at the center of their academic program. Our students have set themselves ambitious goals, and we have high expectations for them in terms of their applications to top-flight colleges around the world. The students’ mastery of English is at the center of their applications process and their future success in college.

At SISU Bilingual School, we pride ourselves on the delivery of a curriculum that is rigorous, comprehensive, creative and responsive to the particular needs of Chinese students who, although having had the majority of their education within the standard education system, wish now to travel abroad for their university education.

The first obligation of an educator is to facilitate each individual student in achieving the very best that the student can become. Our High School curriculum, therefore, offers a wide choice of subjects and extra-curricular activities that contribute to the education and development of the student as fully-rounded young person, ready and willing to be a committed and conscientious member of society.

But it also fills me with great pride that so many of our students achieve offers from many of the top colleges and universities in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. In this past year alone, our students were offered places at New York University (NYU), Oberlin College, Macalester College, University College Los Angeles (UCLA) and San Diego.

In addition to our full-time English teachers, SISU Bilingual School employs part-time specialists from outside in the fields of Drama, Debate and Art so that our students enjoy a holistic educational experience.
