The program consists of college-level courses developed by the AP Program and corresponding exams that are administered once a year. With the authority of the College Board, the AP program has been approved widely by around 3700 universities from 57 different regions around the world. They are highly valued by universities since they involve a rigorous and in-depth engagement with a subject.
