These weekly assignments should be my original thoughts and analysis in response to the various texts that we are reading.\u201d<\/p>\n        <p class=\"ideas\">\u201cIn my English class at SISU Bilingual school, I was always encouraged and given the opportunity to share and develop my thoughts and comments in seminars and structured discussions\u2014this has helped me a lot in the first year of my university course.\u201d<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"card\">\n\t<div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"card-content\">\n      <div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-3 col-md-2 card-image\">\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/international-senior-high-division\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/meet-our-alumni-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194 img-responsive img-circle image-width\">\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-9 col-md-10\">\n        <h3>Eric<\/h3>\n        <p>\n          Eric is studying for a degree in economics and humanities at one of the most well-regarded liberal arts colleges in the USA, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oberlin.edu\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oberlin<\/a>.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"ideas\">\n          \u201cThe single biggest challenge is the volume of reading and writing that I must complete every week\u2014at least, the equivalent of a number of books per week, plus a 15-page piece of writing.\u201d\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"ideas\">\n          \u201cMy English course at SISU Bilingual School helped lay the groundwork for academic reading and extended writing, and by showing me the beauty of the English language my G12 English course taught me that acquiring excellent English is a life-long journey, not simply a painful task to overcome as quickly as possible.\u201d\n        <\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"card\">\n\t<div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"card-content\">\n      <div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-3 col-md-2 card-image\">\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/international-senior-high-division\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/meet-our-alumni-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194 img-responsive img-circle image-width\">\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-9 col-md-10\">\n        <h3>Grace<\/h3>\n        <p>\n          Grace is studying for a degree in humanities at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Macalester College<\/a>in Saint Paul, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Macalester_College\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minnesota<\/a>, another highly-ranked university in the USA.\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"ideas\">\n          \u201cEvery week, I must submit three questions that should provoke discussion among my peers and synthesize information on the topic under consideration at that time\u2014this is part of my work in writing responses to reading.\u201d\n        <\/p>\n        <p class=\"ideas\">\n          \u201cIn my English studies at SISU Bilingual School, I was encouraged to participate in seminars, discuss readings in great detail and engage in provocative discourse with my classmates.
